Food Safety Specialist

Food Safety Specialist will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining FRONERI Food Safety Management system, where we ensure compliance to Local Egyptian requirements as well as FRONERI Global standards. In addition to addressing and investigating all food-safety-related potential issues throughout the production process and leading all external and internal audits performed. This role also involves conducting regular internal inspections and audits on different areas within the production facility, staff on-the-job training and awareness, and addressing any food safety issues to ensure complete compliance to all standards.



Requirements


Education: Bachelor’s – University Graduate

Major: Science

Experience: 3-5

• In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and standards, including FSSC 22000, HACCP, GMP, and NFSA guidelines

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and training abilities.

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.





Job Description



• Develop, implement, and maintain Food Safety management system in compliance with FRONERI Global standards, Egyptian National Food Safety Authority (NFSA) guidelines, and FSSC 22000 standards.

• Acting proactively to prevent and resolve any food safety potential risks within the production areas. 

• Investigate and resolve any food-safety-related issues or violations, including performing root cause analyses, and Corrective actions / Preventive actions (CAPA). 

• Food Safety team leader leading the HACCP team by updating, reviewing, and maintaining Lines HACCP studies and HACCP/Food Safety meetings. 

• Leading and performing internal audits and proactive Gap assessments across different standards (FRONERI, NFSA, FSSC 22000..etc)

• Leading all external audits performed by third parties e.g., NFSA, FSSC 2200, HALAL, and customers in addition to following up with Action plans arising from audits and inspections. 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure food safety and quality throughout the production process. 

• Provide food safety training to all staff members (Permanent and temporary)  ensuring their complete knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Allergen control, cleaning procedures, HACCP..etc.

• Perform GMP and Hygiene audits for the factory and prepare reports on food safety compliance rates, with definitive action plans. 

• Update, maintain, and implement documentation related to food safety, including Quality Standard operating procedures, cleaning procedures, Line release, change management, and training records.
