Line Quality Control Supervisor

Monitor the extent to which our products meet specifications. In the most general terms there are two "enemies" of product quality:- (1) Deviations from target specifications, and (2) excessive variability around target specifications. During the earlier stages of developing the production process, designed experiments are often used to optimize these two quality characteristics.



Requirements


Education: Bachelor Degreee

Major: Science/Agriculture/chemistry/food science

Experience: 2-4 years of experience





Job Description


  • Do the product inspection and check products by sight, sound, feel, smell, or even taste to guarantee the quality of the goods are produced.
  • Check the net weigh for all products on lines and assure that it is according to the net weight limits.
  • Do the visual checks for the product shape on line.
  • Assure that Julian codes are implemented correctly.
  • Ensure that all weighting scales are calibrated & checked according to procedures.
  • Records the net weights for samples taken to calculate costing overfill. Check the tightness.
  • Taste semi finish product in presence of the panelist to release it for filling and record results in IN/OUT file.
  • Check, monitor and assure that CCP points are checked regularly.
  • Assure that products are produced in a good and hygienic condition.
  • Assure that GMP are well maintained and report to production manager immediately for any deviation.
  • Release line in presence of shift supervisor in start-up or after product change over.
  • Assure implementing FIFE principle during filling semi-finish product and recording all parameter used for traceability.
  • Inform Production manager and / or laboratory immediately for any deviations to decide the action needed.
  • Ensure applying and respecting safety & Environment policy for his machine or area “Safety is non negotiable”.
  • Qualifications

    • 2 years experience in a technical field, preferably food manufacturing or consumer goods industry similar positions.
    • University graduate or equivalent (preferred agriculture, chemistry or food science).
